Alexa Plus, Amazon’s upgraded AI assistant, can now generate podcasts on “virtually any topic,” according to an announcement on Monday. With the update, Amazon says you can give Alexa Plus a topic, and the AI assistant will offer an overview of what its AI hosts plan to talk about, allowing you to steer the conversation and adjust its length before it starts generating the episode. 根据亚马逊周一发布的公告，其升级版 AI 助手 Alexa Plus 现在可以生成关于“几乎任何主题”的播客。通过此次更新，亚马逊表示，您可以为 Alexa Plus 提供一个主题，AI 助手会先概述其 AI 主持人计划讨论的内容，让您在生成节目之前能够引导对话方向并调整时长。

Some “Alexa Podcast” examples shared by Amazon have two AI-generated hosts talking about the history of the Roman Empire, new music, and expectations for the World Cup. Amazon says you can also ask Alexa Plus to generate audio lessons about the Apollo missions, or create a podcast episode about a new hobby, like photography. Amazon says the AI-generated podcast episodes will draw information from the 200 news publications the company has partnered with, including Reuters, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, Vox, and Politico. You’ll receive a notification on your Echo Show device and the Alexa app once the episode is finished.
