Activision is planning to drop support for PS4 and Xbox One consoles in Call of Duty: Warzone later this year. Call of Duty: Warzone will be removed from PS4 and Xbox One storefronts on June 4th and will no longer be available to download. The timing couldn’t be worse for Warzone players still holding on to older consoles, as both Microsoft and Sony have increased the prices of their consoles over the past year. Activision announced the changes to Warzone support on the same day it announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for current generation consoles. Modern Warfare 4 will be available on the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles, as well as Nintendo’s Switch 2.
