Microsoft actually tapped NVIDIA’s Tegra ARM CPUs for the Surface RT way back in 2012. But that machine was largely considered a hamstrung disaster. NVIDIA has also largely struggled to find a footing in the world of ARM processors, with Qualcomm cornering the high-end, and companies like MediaTek dominating the budget world.
