OpenAI is releasing some sort of device related to its AI-powered coding tool, Codex, on July 15th. In a video posted to X on Monday, OpenAI shows a square-shaped device with several buttons, alongside the caption, “Your favorite Codex shortcuts are getting an upgrade.” OpenAI 将于 7 月 15 日发布一款与其 AI 编程工具 Codex 相关的设备。在周一发布于 X（原推特）的一段视频中，OpenAI 展示了一款带有多个按钮的方形设备，并配文称：“你最喜欢的 Codex 快捷键即将迎来升级。”

This isn’t the mysterious AI-powered device OpenAI is working on with former Apple designer Jony Ive, however. As shown in the teaser, OpenAI is launching the device in partnership with Work Louder, a company that sells an array of mechanical keyboards and macro pads with mappable keys, dials, and switches. 不过，这并非 OpenAI 与前苹果设计师乔尼·艾维（Jony Ive）合作研发的那款神秘 AI 设备。正如预告片所示，OpenAI 是与 Work Louder 合作推出该设备的。Work Louder 是一家销售各种机械键盘和宏键盘（macro pads）的公司，其产品配备了可映射的按键、旋钮和开关。

The silhouette of the device shown by OpenAI looks a bit like Work Louder’s Creator Micro 2, a macro pad that comes with 13 mechanical switches, a joystick, and a touch sensor. Users can assign shortcuts and custom actions to the toggles on that device when using different apps, like Photoshop. Figma similarly partnered with Work Louder to launch a macro pad with preconfigured shortcuts.
