Netflix paid $587M for Ben Affleck’s AI filmmaking startup

In a new regulatory filing, Netflix revealed that it paid $587 million in cash for InterPositive, a startup co-founded by actor and director Ben Affleck. 在一份新的监管文件中，Netflix 披露其以 5.87 亿美元现金收购了由演员兼导演本·阿弗莱克（Ben Affleck）共同创立的初创公司 InterPositive。

According to Affleck, InterPositive’s AI tools help filmmakers improve their footage in post-production, particularly when it comes to making up for “real-world production challenges such as missing shots, background replacements or incorrect lighting.” 据阿弗莱克介绍，InterPositive 的 AI 工具旨在帮助电影制作人在后期制作中优化素材，特别是在弥补“现实拍摄中的挑战，如镜头缺失、背景替换或灯光错误”方面。
