Kiro em todo lugar! / Kiro Everywhere!

Usar IA no dia a dia não é nenhuma novidade, e praticamente TODO O MUNDO já sabe disso. E hoje temos diversos “sabores” de IA, inclusive para todos os gostos, e escolher um só é difícil, porque cada um tem seu molho especial em alguma tarefa específica. Eu, como não é novidade, acabei adotando como meu “favorito das últimas semanas” o Kiro…e confesso, muito no começo pelo ícone de fantasma que acho muito massa rss, mas conforme fui usando melhor, comecei a entender a sua estrutura, e principalmente o spec-driven, aí ele me conquistou de uma maneira meio que irreversível.

Using AI in daily life is nothing new, and practically EVERYONE already knows this. Today, we have various “flavors” of AI for every taste, and choosing just one is difficult because each has its own special sauce for specific tasks. As is no surprise, I ended up adopting Kiro as my “favorite of the last few weeks”… and I confess, at first, it was largely because of the ghost icon, which I think is really cool lol. But as I used it more, I began to understand its structure, especially the spec-driven approach, and it won me over in an almost irreversible way.

E engraçado que hoje mais cedo quando estava dirigindo a caminho do supermercado, pensando nas minhas demandas e atividades, comecei já a estruturar meu “steering” mentalmente de uma nova task que precisaria fazer, e nisso me veio um pensamento…Caraca! Estou usando o Kiro para praticamente tudo! É isso que quero compartilhar com vocês hoje, um pouco de não só como estou usando, mas onde e para que!

It’s funny that earlier today, while driving to the supermarket and thinking about my demands and activities, I started mentally structuring my “steering” for a new task I needed to do, and a thought hit me… Wow! I’m using Kiro for practically everything! That’s what I want to share with you today: not just how I’m using it, but where and for what!

Trabalho nosso de todo dia / Our Daily Work

Esse é meio que óbvio né? Seja um desenvolvedor, vibe-coder, arquiteto, engenheiro e tal, todo mundo está na onda de usar a IA para acelerar seu trabalho. Como comentei acima, o spec-driven do Kiro me conquistou porque eu não saio simplesmente “curando código gerado pela IA”, eu realmente troco uma ideia com a IA e estruturo realmente a arquitetura daquilo que quero construir. A geração de código virou somente a consequência de toda essa sólida estrutura que conseguimos criar antes, e nesse ponto deixei de ser apenas um curador para assumir realmente a posição de arquiteto da feature que estou desenvolvendo.

This one is kind of obvious, right? Whether you’re a developer, vibe-coder, architect, engineer, etc., everyone is on the wave of using AI to accelerate their work. As I mentioned above, Kiro’s spec-driven approach won me over because I don’t just go around “curating AI-generated code”; I actually exchange ideas with the AI and truly structure the architecture of what I want to build. Code generation has become merely the consequence of all this solid structure we create beforehand, and at this point, I stopped being just a curator to truly assume the position of architect for the feature I’m developing.

Conteúdo para comunidade / Content for the Community

Inclusive, esse artigo é fruto de um pouco disso! Não é sobre ser preguiçoso e deixar a IA gerar o conteúdo (o que eu acho errado também!), mas sim em “se transformar” em uma skill, onde você produz o conteúdo (VOCÊ criando o conteúdo!) e passa por essa skill para correção de gramática, compreensão, internacionalização e regionalização…uso muito como um “segundo olhar” sobre o que produzi, se consegui me expressar da maneira que gostaria e se aquele conteúdo está bom para ser publicado. É eu curando eu…loucura né?!

Actually, this article is a result of a bit of that! It’s not about being lazy and letting the AI generate the content (which I also think is wrong!), but rather about “transforming yourself” into a skill, where you produce the content (YOU creating the content!) and run it through this skill for grammar correction, comprehension, internationalization, and regionalization. I use it a lot as a “second pair of eyes” on what I’ve produced, to see if I managed to express myself the way I wanted and if that content is good enough to be published. It’s me curating me… crazy, right?!

Entrevistas de emprego? / Job Interviews?

Hahahaha! Esse é o mais esquisito que achei para colocar aqui, mas sim, em entrevistas! Nesses últimos meses acabei ajudando um amigo em recolocação no mercado de trabalho, e após diversas entrevistas e anotações de um lado e outro, decidimos criar uma skill para organizar exatamente isso! Com base nos jobs descriptions, nas transcrições de entrevistas e feedbacks dos processos que ele passou, a skill conseguia fortalecer os pontos que precisava melhorar, e até selecionar se determinada vaga dava o “match” com ele! Inclusive ajudando no histórico de quais empresas ele passou, lembrando ele de quais vagas valiam a pena ou não.

Hahahaha! This is the weirdest one I decided to include here, but yes, in interviews! In these last few months, I ended up helping a friend with job placement, and after several interviews and notes from both sides, we decided to create a skill to organize exactly that! Based on job descriptions, interview transcripts, and feedback from the processes he went through, the skill was able to strengthen the points he needed to improve and even select whether a certain vacancy was a “match” for him! It even helped with the history of which companies he went through, reminding him which jobs were worth it or not.

Dúvidas pessoais e persistência a longo prazo / Personal Doubts and Long-term Persistence

Usei bastante o ChatGPT da OpenAI para dúvidas, tanto pessoais como de trabalho, mas conforme fui usando mais o Kiro para a parte profissional, deixei o ChatGPT mais para coisas pessoais…meio que separar as “inteligências”. Porém algo que me deixava bem desconfortável com a OpenAI, era a questão de voltar a uma conversa antiga…por mais que tem o histórico lá do chat, entre os tempos muita coisa acontece, novos fatos, novos artefatos, e para atualizar aquela conversa levava um certo tempo. Agora estou meio que dividindo até minhas coisas pessoais entre o Kiro…geralmente inicio lá a conversa no ChatGPT, e se daquela conversa “evoluir” para algo que preciso dar mais contexto, seja texto ou até mesmo imagem, eu já logo crio um steering indicando onde está aquele meu contexto, “exporto” a conversa do ChatGPT e passo a usar o Kiro somente. O único problema ainda é que geralmente essas coisas pessoais em alguns momentos não estou na frente do PC, ainda sinto a falta de um app “tá na mão” igual tem na OpenAI.

I used OpenAI’s ChatGPT a lot for doubts, both personal and work-related, but as I used Kiro more for the professional side, I left ChatGPT more for personal things… sort of separating the “intelligences.” However, something that made me quite uncomfortable with OpenAI was the issue of returning to an old conversation… even though there is the chat history, a lot happens over time—new facts, new artifacts—and updating that conversation took a certain amount of time. Now I’m kind of splitting even my personal stuff into Kiro… I usually start the conversation in ChatGPT, and if that conversation “evolves” into something where I need to provide more context, whether text or even images, I immediately create a steering indicating where that context is, “export” the ChatGPT conversation, and start using only Kiro. The only problem is that, usually, for these personal things, I’m sometimes not in front of the PC, and I still miss having a “handy” app like the one OpenAI has.

Skills

Ahh…aqui que entra onde comecei a me transformar em arquivo kiko.md rss…vira e mexe tinha que falar para a IA quem era eu, o que gostava e como fazia…isso era um saco! Então estudando mais sobre skills disse para mim mesmo…tá aí a forma de me transcender (pegou a referência? rss), e comecei a me transformar em skills…quem sou eu, como faço palestras e artigos, quais minhas preferências de jogos, etc!…e quando preciso “da minha ajuda”, simplesmente me chamo através do ”/” alguma coisa…simples assim! E isso falando somente de skills, nem entrando no mérito de agentes, que aí acho que vale uma parte específica só sobre ele!

Ahh… this is where I started turning myself into a kiko.md file lol… every now and then I had to tell the AI who I was, what I liked, and how I did things… that was a pain! So, studying more about skills, I said to myself… there’s the way to transcend myself (get the reference? lol), and I started turning myself into skills… who I am, how I give talks and write articles, what my gaming preferences are, etc.! And when I need “my help,” I simply call myself using ”/” something… simple as that! And this is just talking about skills, not even getting into the merit of agents, which I think deserves a specific section just for itself!

Bom, acho que é isso…e para finalizar, SIM! Estou encantado com o Kiro e pretendo compartilhar mais aqui com vocês outras coisas malucas que estou usando, minha jornada com o fantasminha, e até onde esse modelo dele me ajuda no dia a dia no trabalho.
