AI is moving faster than traditional methods of learning and teaching can keep up with it. With new concepts, skills, ideas, and tools arriving almost daily, we needed a new way to teach and learn these new technologies. Our latest collaboration, the 5-Day AI Agents: Intensive Vibe Coding Course with Google, had over 353,000 registered participants. Together, we explored the frontier of vibe coding, where people program through natural language. Our courses navigated the entire lifecycle of designing, securing, and deploying production-grade AI agents in the cloud. Hundreds of thousands of learners gathered across codelabs and technical whitepapers to collaborate in real time. From advanced digital humanities tools like the historical manuscript transcription pipeline Palimpsest, to sophisticated space-weather research systems like Project ARIES, the caliber of submissions made it incredibly difficult to narrow down the top entries.
