SpaceX officially closes its Cursor acquisition

AI coding startup Cursor is now officially a part of SpaceX, according to an announcement on the Cursor blog. 根据 Cursor 官方博客发布的消息，AI 编程初创公司 Cursor 现已正式成为 SpaceX 的一部分。

Elon Musk’s SpaceX — which also acquired Musk’s xAI earlier this year — announced a deal in April for the companies to develop technology together; the deal also gave SpaceX the option to acquire Cursor for $60 billion. 埃隆·马斯克（Elon Musk）旗下的 SpaceX（该公司今年早些时候还收购了马斯克的 xAI）在四月份宣布了一项双方共同开发技术的协议；该协议还赋予了 SpaceX 以 600 亿美元收购 Cursor 的选择权。

Two months later, as SpaceX became a public company, the companies said they were moving forward with the acquisition. 两个月后，随着 SpaceX 成为一家上市公司，双方表示将推进此次收购。

In its announcement that the deal has closed, Cursor repeatedly referenced SpaceX’s computing infrastructure, which the company has been renting out to customers including Anthropic and Google.
