Briefly, Claude was used to port CADO-NFS to run on GPUs. It orchestrated running on a fleet of up to 2048 GPUs as a low-priority job during unused idle time between regular jobs. The computation ran over a 10-day period and performed about 30 GPU-years of compute time at Anthropic. 简而言之，我们利用 Claude 将 CADO-NFS 移植到 GPU 上运行。它协调了多达 2048 个 GPU 的集群，在常规任务之间的空闲时间以低优先级任务的形式进行计算。该计算过程持续了 10 天，在 Anthropic 消耗了约 30 个 GPU 年的算力。

This work did not meaningfully improve the runtime of the General Number Field Sieve (GNFS) algorithm. It does not impact the security of deployed RSA-2048 keys.
