I built a free Tarkov-like shooter in Godot 4 – and the whole city is destructible

ATTRITION is a free hardcore FPS for Windows. Blow apart a voxel city, fight AI squads that share intel over the radio, real ballistics and field medicine, co-op and PvP. No account, no launcher – download, extract, play.

ATTRITION is a free, Tarkov-like extraction shooter for Windows. Take your own gear into a city where every wall can be blown apart, fight AI squads alone or with a friend – and lose it all if you don’t make it back.

ATTRITION 是一款免费的、类似《逃离塔科夫》的撤离类射击游戏。你可以带着自己的装备进入一座墙壁皆可炸毁的城市，独自或与朋友一起对抗 AI 小队——如果你没能活着回来，你将失去一切。

Why I built it: Most shooters forget everything when you die. I wanted a war that keeps going without you – where the rifle on your back is actually yours to lose.

我为何开发它：大多数射击游戏在你死亡时会重置一切。我想要一场即使没有你也会继续进行的战争——你背上的步枪是你真正可能失去的资产。

The AI actually communicates: This is the part I’m most proud of. The AI only knows what someone saw, heard or reported – no wallhacks. Tank on the street? The squad calls it out, the leader radios type, position and heading.

AI 确实会进行交流：这是我最引以为傲的部分。AI 只知道有人看到、听到或报告过的内容——没有透视挂。街上有坦克？小队会呼叫，队长会通过无线电报告坦克类型、位置和航向。

Simulated like the real thing: Ballistics (muzzle velocity, drag per caliber, bullet drop, penetration through walls and armor plates), Organs, not hit points (brain = instant, heart = a few seconds, lungs = bleeding and gasping), Field medicine (tourniquets, pressure bandages, splints).

如同真实般的模拟：弹道（枪口初速、每种口径的阻力、弹道下坠、穿透墙壁和装甲板）、器官而非生命值（大脑=即死，心脏=几秒钟，肺部=流血和喘息）、战地医疗（止血带、压力绷带、夹板）。

Under the hood: Godot 4.7 – gameplay in GDScript, the heavy lifting (voxels, navigation, movement, poses) in C++ via GDExtension. Signed delta updates: the game checks for new builds, downloads only changed files and verifies the signature before installing.

技术底层：Godot 4.7——游戏逻辑使用 GDScript 编写，繁重的工作（体素、导航、移动、姿态）通过 GDExtension 使用 C++ 实现。签名增量更新：游戏会检查新版本，仅下载更改的文件并在安装前验证签名。

Play it in 60 seconds: Download ATTRITION-Windows.zip, Right-click → Extract All, Start ATTRITION.exe. Heads-up: it’s an early alpha, so expect bugs. The game text is German for now – English is coming, and the menus are short and easy to use.
