Apple Intelligence is finally coming to China with iOS 27.3

Apple is launching an iOS 27.3 beta next week that will bring some of the initial Apple Intelligence features to the Chinese market.

苹果公司将于下周发布 iOS 27.3 测试版，届时将为中国市场带来部分首批 Apple Intelligence 功能。

Apple will launch Apple Intelligence in China with iOS 27.3, the company announced on its Chinese newsroom website, as reported by MacRumors. The Apple Intelligence features will be available first in an iOS 27.3 beta that’s set to launch on November 4th, with a full iOS 27.3 release scheduled for December.

据 MacRumors 报道，苹果公司在其中国新闻中心网站上宣布，将随 iOS 27.3 在中国推出 Apple Intelligence。这些 Apple Intelligence 功能将首先在定于 11 月 4 日发布的 iOS 27.3 测试版中提供，正式版 iOS 27.3 计划于 12 月发布。

This launch doesn’t bring the new Siri AI to China. Instead, Apple is launching several of its earlier Apple Intelligence features like notification summaries, real-time translation, rewriting and proofreading tools, visual intelligence, and removing objects from photos. Apple also says it has worked with Alibaba to add support for its Qwen chatbot in some experiences, which sounds similar to iOS’s integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT that launched in 2024.

此次发布并未将新的 Siri AI 带入中国。相反，苹果推出的是其早期的几项 Apple Intelligence 功能，例如通知摘要、实时翻译、重写和校对工具、视觉智能以及照片消除物体功能。苹果还表示，已与阿里巴巴合作，在部分体验中增加了对其通义千问（Qwen）聊天机器人的支持，这听起来与 2024 年推出的 iOS 集成 OpenAI 的 ChatGPT 类似。

Apple Intelligence was approved in China in July, which signalled that the launch of the AI tools was getting near. Apple trained its own LLM specifically for China, Reuters reported in August.
